How to watch ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ on Hulu
The fourth season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” will premiere on Hulu with three new episodes on April 28. After that, Hulu will release one new episode every Wednesday between May 5 and June 16. The season will feature a total of 10 episodes.
If you want to catch up on past seasons before the premiere, you can stream all 36 episodes from the first, second, and third seasons of “The Handmaid’s Tale” right now on Hulu.
Hulu’s basic, ad-supported plan costs $6 a month or $60 a year. We recommend you get the annual version for the most savings, as it comes out to $12 less per year. For ad-free streaming, you can opt for Hulu’s premium plan at $12 a month. No matter what on-demand plan you choose, new members get a free 30-day trial.
You can also package Hulu Basic with Disney Plus and ESPN+ for $14 a month. The bundle will supplement Hulu’s library with live sports from ESPN+ and tons of hit movies and shows from Disney Plus. Other versions of Hulu are also available with the bundle for an extra fee. You can find a detailed breakdown of Hulu bundle options here.

How to watch ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ without Hulu
If you don’t want to pay a monthly fee, you can buy individual episodes or full seasons of “The Handmaid’s Tale” from digital retailers like Amazon, iTunes, and Vudu. Episodes are priced at $3 each in HD video quality.
That said, only the first three seasons are available to buy from other platforms. As such, we recommend Hulu as a better option since Hulu will grant you access to the fourth season as soon as it premieres.
It’s not clear when other platforms will add season four, but it usually takes several months for new seasons to receive a home video release after they air on Hulu.
