The critically acclaimed series follows the wealthy Roy family as they attempt to run a giant media empire and fight to wrest control of the company from their aging patriarch. “Succession” is known for its mix of tense drama and dark humor.
After an explosive turn of events in the show’s season two finale, the future of the Roy family business remains up in the air. Actors Alexander Skarsgård and Adrien Brody are among the guest stars that joined the ensemble cast for season three. The series also stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, and Alan Ruck.
Lauded by critics, the second season of “Succession” received an Emmy award for outstanding drama series. The first two seasons are both “Certified Fresh” on the review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes. Season three of “Succession” currently holds a “96% Fresh” rating.
How to watch ‘Succession’ season finale
You can watch the season three finale of “Succession” on December 12 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max and the HBO cable channel. All eight previous episodes of the third season are available to stream on-demand right now. If you’re new to the show, you can also stream the first two seasons in their entirety on HBO Max.
